PokeDoku is a free daily Pokémon trivia puzzle inspired by the Immaculate Grid. You must fill a 3×3 grid with Pokémon that match two criteria simultaneously - one for the row and one for the column.

How many guesses do I get?

You start with 40 guesses. Every wrong answer costs one guess, even if the same Pokémon in the same cell was tried before.

Can I reuse the same Pokémon in multiple cells?

No. Once a Pokémon is placed correctly it is locked. Try a different Pokémon for each cell.

Is there a new puzzle every day?

Yes! A brand-new PokeDoku grid is generated daily. Check back tomorrow for a fresh challenge.

What do the clues mean?

Clues can be a Pokémon type (Fire, Water, Psychic…), a generation (Gen 1–9), Legendary, or Mega Evolved. A Pokémon must satisfy both the row clue and the column clue for the cell it is placed in.

How are my stats tracked?

Your win percentage, current streak, and max streak are stored locally in your browser. No account is needed.

How to Play

Look at the 6 clues: 3 along the top (columns) and 3 on the left (rows). Each is a type, generation, or special trait.

Tap any empty cell to open the Pokémon search panel.

Type a Pokémon name and select one. It must satisfy both the row and column clue. ✅ Correct = placed. ❌ Wrong = costs one guess.

Each Pokémon can only be used once across the entire grid.

You have 40 guesses. Fill all 9 cells to win. A new puzzle drops every day!
